This piece was inspired by the events of September 11th. It is a symbol of both the breaking apart of families and the buildings themselves but also the building up of a country, a country coming together against a common force. While there is much debate over the events following that day, everyone agrees that that day should never be forgotten and neither should the lives that were lost.
